WEBINAR: Global Biomass Supply and Challenges
5th April @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Demand for biomass for energy has increased significantly over the past two decades and is likely to continue to be important as society strives to decarbonise heat, electricity and transport. Its attractiveness lies in its flexibly of use, where and when required, whether that is for baseload power or conversion to a fuel that can be stored and used for heat or converted to a fuel for transport. This means that there is 20 plus years of experience of meeting biomass demand across the world for many different applications at different scales, but persistent challenges in increasing supply in the future. This presentation draws on Ricardo Energy and Environment’s experience of biomass supply strategies and examines how we might meet the challenges of tomorrow.
